Zintegrowaną grafikę Intela sprawdziłem w popularnych 3D Markach. W starszym 3D Marku 06 grafika Intela dogoniła jeden z najwydajniejszych układów konkurencji. Spoglądając na wyniki chipsetu G45, który dotychczas był uważany za najwydajniejszy układ Intela - różnica jest spora. Jedynie najwolniejszy Pentium G6950 nieco odstaje.
Natomiast w 3D Mark Vantage zintegrowany w CPU Intel HD Graphics nie ma sobie równych. Zmiótł całą konkurencję, w tym starszego G45

Czy mi się wydaje, czy 5GHz w końcu nie będzie nieosiągalnym dla powietrza progiem? Posiadam e6550 i do niego pentagram Karakorum, czyli jeżeli przełożyłbym go do i3 (bo mam nadzieję na taką zmianę) mógłbym dojść i przekroczyć próg 5GHz?...
Myślę, że ogólny trend został już narysowany. Intel planuje przenosić poszczególne funkcjonalności bezpośrednio do procesora. AMD zresztą ma podobne plany, tylko w praktyce są jeszcze w proszku.
Problem w tym, że masz nieco inaczej skonfigurowany komputer. Przez to wyniki się różnią.
